So far, 87 candidates have won the electoral fray for 10 assembly seats, tomorrow on the last day

 

In the third phase of assembly elections, elections will be held in Kanpur. Nominations are underway in all the 10 assembly seats of Kanpur district. There was a huge rush of candidates who filed their nominations on Monday. 39 candidates have filed their nominations. So far, 87 candidates have filed their nominations.

Tuesday is the last day of nominations. 

Scrutiny of nomination papers will be held on February 2 and on February 4, candidates will get a chance to withdraw their nominations. On February 4, election symbols will be allotted to independent candidates. Among those who filed their nominations on Monday were Raghunandan Singh Bhadauria of the BJP from Cantt, Sohil Akhtar Ansari of the Congress, Mohammad Safi of the BSP, Mohammad Hasan Rumi from the SP.

They also filed nominations.

On Monday itself, Rachna Singh of SP and Usha Rani Kori of Congress from Bilhaur, Ashok Kumar Nishad of Congress from Bithoor, Arun Mishra of BSP from Kalyanpur, Karishma Thakur of Congress from Govindnagar, Ashok Kumar Kalia of BSP, Surendra Pal Singh Chauhan of BSP from Maharajpur, Saroj Kureel of Apna Dal S from Ghatampur, Rajnarayan Kureel of Congress and Abhimanyu Gupta of SP from Kidwai Nagar filed their nominations.

Filed nomination for the second time

Abhimanyu Gupta of SP and Pawan Tiwari of Shiv Sena filed their nominations from Kidwai Nagar seat. Alok Kumar of All Jan Party, Mohan Mishra of BSP, Ajay Kapoor of Congress and Vivek Dwivedi of Aam Aadmi Party filed their nominations for the second time. From Ghatampur seat, bjp's ally Apna Dal S candidate Saroj Kureel, Rajnarayan of Congress, Karan Singh of BAHUJAN Mukti Party, Vipin Kumar of Arjakar Adhikar Dal, Munni Lal of Bharatiya Shakti Chetna Party filed their nomination papers.

Nomination from Govind Nagar seat also

From Govind Nagar seat, Karishma Thakur of Congress, Ashok Kumar Kalia of BSP, Ganesh Dixit of Bharatiya Shakti Chetna Party filed their nomination papers. Surendra Maithani of THE BJP, Kavardeep of aap and Samrat Vikas of SP re-nominated. Apart from this, Suresh Awasthi of BJP, Anuj Shukla of AAP and Guddi of National Handicapped Party again filed their nomination papers from Aryanagar seat. Bjp's Salil Vishnoi and BSP's Rajnish Tiwari re-filed their nominations from Sisamau seat.
